FAQ

Common fencing questions

What should be included in my written fencing quote?

Your written quote should clearly outline the fence type, dimensions, colour, gates, removal work and other agreed inclusions. It should also explain any exclusions, payment terms, expected timing and site conditions that could affect the job. That way, you know exactly what you are approving before work begins.

Could the quoted price change or unexpected extras be added later?

We aim to identify potential costs before work begins, including access issues, old-fence removal, difficult ground, retaining walls and gate requirements. If an unexpected site condition or requested change affects the price, we will explain it and seek your approval before carrying out additional work. You will not simply discover an unexplained extra on the final invoice.

How do I know my deposit is safe?

Before paying a deposit, you will receive a written quote showing the agreed work, deposit amount, payment stages and business details. We provide confirmation of payments and keep the next steps clear, so you know what your deposit covers and what happens from there.

Will I deal with the same person from quote to completion?

You will have a clear point of contact who understands your project and can answer questions throughout the process. If another team member needs to assist, we will explain who they are and what they are handling, so you are never left wondering whom to contact.

Can you help if my neighbour is involved or has not agreed yet?

Yes. You can request a quote even if your neighbour has not agreed or moved in yet. We can clearly document the proposed fence, inclusions and available options to make the conversation easier. We cannot provide legal advice or determine what another owner must pay, but we can help make the fencing details clear for everyone involved.

How can I confirm you use genuine Colorbond® materials?

The proposed material and product details can be identified in your written quote, so you know what has been specified before approving the work. Where available, we can also provide relevant supplier or product information for added peace of mind.
